Online Collection Description

Online collection descriptions form one of the many ways museums, libraries and archives can present collection information to new and existing users.
MLA South East has commissioned research to look into the development of new technologies and projects to assist museums, libraries and archives in the South East to improve existing or start new projects to attract new and existing users to the wealth of information held by the region's collections.

The Report and accompanying In Brief provide a starting point and we welcome comments and suggestions on this research or other existing resources for use in developing knowledge on online collection description initiatives.
