RAISE, the organisation for Voluntary and Community Organisations (VCOs) in the South East, works to enable VCOs to effectively influence regional policy wherever it is made or implemented. To this end, they have published a comprehensive Leadership toolkit, which will be of particular interest to voluntary and community institutions.

Clore Leadership Programme
The aim of the Clore Leadership Programme is to help to train and develop a new generation of leaders for the cultural sector in the UK. Each year a number of Clore Fellows undertake an individual programme of learning, work, research, training, and secondment, designed to develop their leadership skills and experience.

Leading Modern Public Libraries
Leading Modern Public Libraries is a development programme for staff who have a responsiblity for turning the vision of Framework for the Future into reality. It has been commissioned by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) and developed in partnership with the Society of Chief Librarians

Leading Modern Museums and Archives
Leading Modern Museums and Archives is a national leadership development programme specifically contextualised to meet the needs of managersd in archives and museums. It has been commissioned by MLA as part of its Workforce Development Strategy, with full support from the key representative bodies of both archives and museums, including the Museums Association, the Society of Archivists, the National Archives, the Institute of Conservation and the National Museums Directors conference.

Cultural Leadership Programme
This programme will develop opportunities for current and future leaders, encouraging their creativity, ambition and entrepreneurialism. it is being developed in response to the Government's commitment of £12 million to promote leadership skills within the cultural sector.
