Institute of Race Relations
Since 1972, the IRR has concentrated on responding to the needs of Black people and making direct analyses of institutionalised racism in Britain and the rest of Europe.

International Network for Cultural Diversity
The International Network for Cultural Diversity (INCD) is a worldwide network of artists and cultural groups dedicated to countering the homogenizing effects of globalization on culture.

Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants
Campaigns for justice and combats racism in immigration and asylum law and policy.

Justice Commission
Promotes justice and challenges unjust structures.

Moving Here
Moving Here explores, records and illustrates why people came to England over the last 200 years and what their experiences were and continue to be.

The Runnymede Trust
The highly respected and influential voice of Runnymede has been at the forefront of the fight against social injustice and racial discrimination since 1968.

South East Racial Equality Network
SEREN is the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Network in the South East which seeks to provide support to BME communities, address racism and exclusion facing BME communities and work with regional agencies and networks to address issues.

Black and Minority Ethnic

Anglo Sikh Heritage Trail
The Anglo Sikh Heritage Trail is a unique project uncovering the relatively unknown relationship between the Sikh and British nations.

Black and Asian Studies Association
BASA fosters research and disseminates information on the history of Black peoples in Britain.

Black History Month
Black History Month (BHM) is held every October in Britain to promote knowledge of Black History and experience; disseminate information on positive Black contributions to British Society and heighten the confidence and awareness of Black people in their cultural heritage.

CASBAH
Pilot web site for research resources relating to Caribbean Studies and the history of Black and Asian peoples in the UK.

Centre for Applied South Asian Studies
Centre for social, cultural and religious developments within Britain's Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi minorities.

South Asian Diaspora Literature and Arts Archive
SALIDAA is a free online resource featuring collections of South Asian literature, art, theatre, dance and music by British based artists and organisations.

Rural

Community Regeneration
Website for the regeneration sector’s leading weekly magazine, Regeneration & Renewal. This site incorporates the former Regen.net domain, previously administered by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Scottish Executive.

Traveller

Friends, Families and Travellers
FFT aims to work towards a more equitable society where everyone has the right to travel and to stop without constant fear of persecution because of their lifestyle.

The Gypsy Council for Education, Culture, Welfare and Civil Rights
The Council is involved in a wide spectrum of support and liaison work, supporting Gypsy families in planning applications and their fight for decent legal places to live.

Romany and Traveller Family History Site
A Society of keen family historians with a special interest in their British Gypsy and Traveller roots.

Refugees and Asylum Seekers

Refugee Council
The Refugee Council not only gives help and support, but also works with asylum seekers and refugees to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.

Young Asylum Seekers
The YAS project provides support to young unaccompanied asylum seekers aged 8–21 years who arrive via Gatwick Airport.

Professional

Diversify
Diversify is all about encouraging people from ethnic minority backgrounds to take up a career in museums and galleries. The Museums Association's project works with museums and universities to help people from ethnic minorities gain the right skills and experience to step onto the career ladder.

Quality Leaders Project
A project based on the idea of "management development through service development". It provides new skills to staff so that they can develop and deliver new and innovative services. QLP focuses on developing services to those communities and groups whose needs have not previously been fully met. At the same time, it addresses some of the barriers that prevent career progression for targeted staff by empowering them with new skills.

Government

Commission for Racial Equality
CRE works for a just and integrated society, where diversity is valued. It uses persuasion and its powers under the law to give everyone an equal chance to live free from fear of discrimination, prejudice and racism.
